Für die diesjährigen JUNO Awards sind aus Québec u.a. Charlotte Cardin – in den Kategorien „Tiktok Juno Fan Choice“ und „Artist of the year“ –, Busty and the Bass und Men I Trust – beide in der Kategorie „Breakthrough group of the year“ – nominiert. Charlotte Cardin ist zudem mit „Confetti“ in der Kategorie „Single of the year“ und mit ihrem Album 99 NIGHTS sowohl für das „Album of the year“ als auch für das „Pop album of the year“ nominiert. Auf die Auszeichnung „Album of the year“ hat auch Alexandra Stréliski mit NÉO-ROMANCE Chancen, genauso wie in der Kategorie „Instrumental album of the year“.
In der Kategorie „Francophone album of the year“ sind die Nominierten FouKi mit ZAYON, Karkwa mit DANS LA SECONDE, Les Cowboys fringants & Orchestre symphonique de Montréal mit EN CONCERT AVEC L’ORCHESTRE SYMPHONIQUE DE MONTRÉAL, Salebarbes mit À BOIRE DEBOUTTE und Souldia mit NON CONVENTIONNEL.
Die Verleihung erfolgt am 24. März.
