Für die diesjährigen JUNO Awards sind einige Acts aus Québec nominiert, darunter Half Moon Run als „Group of the year“ und 2Frères als „Breakthrough group of the year“ sowie Basia Bulat mit ARE YOU IN LOVE? und Rufus Wainwright mit UNFOLLOW THE RULES in der Albumkategorie „Adult alternative album of the year“. Flore Laurentienne ist mit seinem Album VOLUME 1 in der Kategorie „Instrumental album of the year“ und Pierre Lapointe mit POUR DÉJOUER L‘ENNUI in der Kategorie „Adult contemporary album of the year“ nominiert.
Die Nominierten in der Kategorie „Francophone album of the year“ sind À TOUS LES VENTS von 2Frères, NOTRE-DAME-DES-SEPT-DOULEURS von Klô Pelgag, LES ANTIPODES von Les Cowboys fringants, QUAND LA NUIT TOMBE von Louis-Jean Cormier und noch einmal POUR DÉJOUER L‘ENNUI von Pierre Lapointe.
Die Verleihung erfolgt am 16. Mai.
